| Bio | David Leon Turk Sr., 48, Independence, died Nov. 4, 1993, in Ray County. Mr. Turk was born in St. Louis and lived in Independence most of his life. He was a driver for Excavating Unlimited. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Independence. Survivors include his wife, Lynne W. Turk of the home; a son, David Turk Jr., Independence; two daughters, Christine Moffett, Sugar Creek, and Lisa Zupon, Independence; a stepson, Mark Burton, Settle; a stepdaughter, Julee Burton, and his mother, Leona Turk, both of Independence; a sister, Denise Miller, Warrensburg, Mo.; and five grandchildren. |
