| Bio | Following high school I married Ron Whiting (Class of '62)in June of 1965. We had two children: Chris, born in 1968, and Jill, born in 1972. I was a stay-at-home mom for 16 years and loved every minute of it. I then went to work for the Jones Store Co. until I retired in 2000. Ron and I enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends through 35 years of marriage, until Ron passed away in February 2001. Currently, I volunteer in the gift shop at Independence Regional Health Center and spend time with my family, friends and three grandchildren (Cameron, age 3; Molly, age 3; and Abby, age 1). My most recent trip was to China in January 2003 with my son and daughter-in-law to adopt Abby; what an amazing experience! |
